Hi Everyone,
It’s the last weekend before school starts here, and mostly we’re taking it easy (I’ve even made use of my hammock).
August was nice a slow, but I did get some writing in. I’ve finished two short stories set in the same world with the same protagonist as The Lost Star Chart. I’ll most likely make them available on over at Armchair Alien early in 2025.
My writing goal for September is to get well into the edits of the sequel to Hope is the Thing With Feathers.
After that, the next project is up in the air. I’ll need to draft a new novel and I have plenty of ideas. I have notes for a sequel for The Lost Star Chart, a scifi horror tale on Europa, a time travel book and a magical realism story that’s unlike anything I’ve done so far. Any preferences for which idea I should tackle first?
Something Awesome
The Lunar Codex project has caught my eye. It’s aim is to send work by writers, artists and film makers to the moon for safe keeping. An archive on the moon is a fascinating idea.
On a moon related tangent, did you know it now has it’s own timezone?
Cheers,
Jeannette
